As requested on our Youtube channel by 'Carte-Blanche Channel' and on our website by 'Silks'; our next tutorial will be on how to create a rain system.
We'll be going through using a pop-network, creating pop streams, pop collision behaviors and pop groups. Then we'll be taking that and creating three aspects of the effect. Firstly, we'll take the main particles and copy simple raindrop geometry to each point. Next, we will add a running effect by converting another pop stream into a VDB to create what looks like fluid sim. Finally, we will create splashes of droplets upon collision.
